£10.00 per hour minimum

Weekly pay

Mileage paid at 35p per mile – class 1 business insurance needed

Mornings, afternoons & evenings

17.00 – 20.00 / 20.00 – 0800 – including alternate weekends

Are you new to working within care and have a passion to help and support people, whilst also expanding your own knowledge?

We are looking to recruit to care for a 10-year-old girl with low level health care needs in Blackpool.

She is a fun-loving chatty girl and needs a good stable team who are able to deliver exceptional high-quality care.

A typical shift will include-

Delivering medications and feed via a gastrostomy

Maintaining hygiene needs

Chatting and hearing about her day

Lots of playing- She particularly enjoys building blocks, throw and catch and pretend games.

Evening and night shifts available. Full training will be provided.

Experience working within care is an advantage, but not necessary for the right candidate. You would be supporting individuals to live independently within their own homes, on a part time basis, and would have consistent individuals with whom you would build a rapport with.

Your role will include:

Prompting and administering medication

Assisting with activities of daily living such domestic duties and personal care

Maintaining and updating reports such as care plans

Undertaking training for Complex Care Interventions – this could lead to further training to support individuals who require Suctioning, Ventilation and PEG

Being employed as a Carer by us means:

Support from named Branch Nurse for Complex Interventions such as Rectal Medications, Bladder Wash Outs and Epilepsy Rescue Medications

Consistent clients with scheduled visits

Comprehensive Care and Support Plans written closely with the service users and their families

Enhanced rates of pay on bank holidays, weekends and after 8pm each day

24/7 support from the branch team including an Out Of Hours telephone service

Continued professional development to support you and your career, including fully funded NVQ levels 2 and 3 together with face-to-face support from trained care staff and Branch Nurses.

You will be paid for post-employment eLearning at £10.00 per hour

We’re looking for:

Paid previous experience as a care assistant is an advantage but not essential

Excellent communication skills

A driver’s licence & your own car is essential

Good professional and personal references
