Office & hybrid working options availableWe are currently recruiting for a leading UK Company who provide Functional assessments for people claiming the ESA/PIP benefit. This is a great opportunity for qualified Nurse’s (RGN), Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists who have an NMC/HCPC/GMC registration? Are you wanting a new challenge where you can still utilise your clinical skills in a way to help people? Then this could be the perfect role for you!
You will start on a 3 month training programme that will help you learn to become a functional assessor, this is a training course lead by experience clinicians who with help you use you skills in a way in which you haven’t before. The training course also counts towards your CPD and revalidation!

To undertake a combination of file-work and face-to-face/telephone assessments of customers in relation to a variety of benefits and provide a report to the DWP.
File-work involves reviewing medical evidence in a written or electronic format to determine the suitability of a face-to-face/telephone assessment.
To use IT software programmes to support clinical decision making when undertaking file-work and examinations.
