Estimator | Blackpool | 39.5hrs per week | Monday to Thursday 8:30-5:00pm and Friday 8:45am – 5:00pm | £21,646.30 per annum – paid weekly (in arrears)
Gilberts (Blackpool) Limited design and manufacture Grilles, Diffusers, Louvres, Smoke/Fire Dampers and Natural Ventilation Systems for the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning industry.
With over 60 years of industry experience, the Company has evolved from modest origins as a manufacturer of Domestic Warm Air Heating Grilles to now become one of the largest UK manufacturers of Commercial Air Distribution products.
This vacancy has become available in the Commercial Estimating Department.

Are you the right person for us?
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
Previous experience in Estimating desirable
Previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment is desirable
Keen worker, attention to detail, motivated, disciplined, supportive, team player and the ability to work under pressure
What will your role as an Estimator look like?
To prepare and generate quotations from enquires received by customers, external sales personnel or agents
Coordinate with the company’s technical sections to provide costs on non-standard designs
To liaise with customers, external sales personnel and agents via phone or email regarding product or project specifications, design, prices and delivery
To liaise with all necessary personnel with regards to all aspects of delivery requirements and agreements
To assist with the administration roles within the department
Work and assist all colleagues in your department
Assist your manager by undertaking temporary work duties that may be required
Carry out any other reasonable request
