Restore Harrow Green are excited to announce an opportunity for fitters to join our growing team here in Cambridge. We are seeking motivated individuals to assist with the movement, installation, and relocation of lab equipment, office furniture, and other items within our organization.
As a fitter, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including driving company vehicles and conducting technical aspects of decommissioning and commissioning of lab equipment, furniture, and IT.
Key responsibilities include:
Continuously reviewing and improving internal and external administration procedures
Identifying ways to provide exceptional service to major accounts
Promoting open communication and driving positive change within the team
Collaborating with managers and team members to ensure efficient communication between departments
Participating in weekly review meetings and taking ownership of follow-up actions as agreed
About you:
Warehouse experience
A valid Cat B driver’s license
A punctual and hardworking attitude
Physically fit
The ability to adapt to change
Proactive problem-solving skills
Polite, friendly, and effective communication skills
A careful and methodical approach to work
A strong sense of responsibility for other people’s property
A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently
