The opportunity has a risen at a Primary School in Poulton-Le-Fylde (FY6) for a Teaching Assisant to work in one of the schools Year 2 classes. This is a full time role that will start after the February half term and will run for the remainder of the academic year. The school are looking for a TA who has a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent who will run small intervention groups for lower attainers in English, Maths and Phonics. 

The role is to work in a Primary School that was graded ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted at their last inspection. The Head Teacher is looking for a Teaching Assistant who will work as a positive support across Year 2 whilst assisting children across the wider school when required. Ideally, applicants will have strong curriculum knowdledge, specifically in phonics and will be comfortable planning for small groups, assessing learning and feeding back to the class teacher. 

This is a full time Teaching Assistant role that will start on Monday 20th February 2023. The school are looking to short list for this post by Wednesday the 8th February with a view to meetings taking place on the 9th and 10th February. 

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you will have at least 6 months experience working with children. You will hold a level 2 qualification or equivalent and will be available to start on Monday 20th February 2023.
