Teacher of ICT and Computing
Start: April 2023
Salary: MPS (£28,000 – £43,685)
Our school is a friendly and vibrant school with a highly committed staff who want the best for all our students ensuring they are ambitious and hungry for future triumph. We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic colleague to join our Computing and ICT Department. In April 2023 we will be expanding our department. This is a new position due to the school growing in the last two years. Applications from colleagues new to the profession are most welcome as is the ability to also offer Computing to at least GCSE level.
Duties the successful candidate must undertake:
To maintain thorough and up to date subject knowledge and pedagogy
To plan lessons and sequences of lessons and to support students in meeting their personal and academic potential
To use a range of effective strategies for teaching and for behaviour management, as detailed in the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy
To deployment classroom support effectively.
To use and analyse performance data including prior learning data, progress data and external examination data when planning lessons.
Establish and set expectations, targets and action plans for individuals and groups of students
A reduced timetable and an excellent support programme for NQT’s
An excellent continued professional development programme for all staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
