Job Description
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Mental Healthcare Assistant who is looking for a challenge and feels comfortable working with mental health patients.
Applicants should have previous experience working in a mental health setting and be confident following health and safety regulations, thinking on their feet and working independently as well as within a team.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates should also be caring, compassionate, empathetic and familiar with how to observe, monitor and record patients’ physical/mental changes.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months’ experience (either in NHS or private UK hospitals)
PMVA/MAPA training (not essential as training can be given)
Flexible with shift patterns
Full-time agency
Immunisation record
Valid DBS
