Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Blackpool

Facilities : Their practice is built to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiography and ultrasonography, and they are in the process of upgrading their biochemistry and haematology suite. Additionally, they also have Capnography and V-Gels. They perform the majority of their first opinion Orthopaedic surgeries on-site with their Area Senior Vet who would be excited to consider upskilling vets interested in developing additional surgical skills.
Team : You will be joining a strong and experienced team of 2 Vet Surgeons, 1 Head Nurse, 1 Senior Nurse, 2 RVNs, a Practice Manager, an assistant Practice Manager, a couple of trainee VCA and Client Care Advisors.
Role : This outstanding surgery in Blackpool has a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join and lead the team!
Hours: This position is part-time working 34 hours across 3 days including 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (8 am-12 pm), however, there are no out-of-hours requirements!
Duties/Skills :
Ideally, they are looking for someone who is proactive, has a bias towards surgery, and is confident in routine surgery.
You will also have exceptional communication skills as well as be able to provide consultation services to clients and their pets.
Salary : They would be happy to offer a salary of around £50,000-£53,000 p/a for a confident, experienced surgeon.
