To be successful in this role, you should be a fully qualified Registered Mental Nurse, very confident and have experience in this field. It’s essential that you are supportive, both to patients and colleagues, and can remain calm under pressure, using strong communication skills at all times.
Those applying should also have excellent observation skills and be good at thinking on their feet, ready to take on any unexpected challenges that may arise as part of the usual care responsibilities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 months’ experience (either in NHS or private UK hospitals)
Valid NMC registration
PMVA/MAPA training (not essential as training can be given)
Flexible with shift patterns
Full-time agency
Immunisation record
Valid DBS
