SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant – Blackpool – Reed – Blackpool


The Lancashire Teaching Agency are working on behalf of a Primary School in the Blackpool area, to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team.

Starting from ASAP, the school are looking for a Learning Support Assistants to join them on a long term temporary or temp to perm basis.

The School:

Graded 'Good' by Ofsted

Specialise in Autism, Mental Health Needs and Anxiety Issues

Provide a bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of each pupil

Have access to a wealth of resources for students and staff

Maintain small class sizes and good pupil to staff ratio's

Have a highly supportive and engaging SLT

The Role:

Above the national average pay rate and salary on offer

Work on 1-2-1 and small group basis with pupils

Provide support with academic and social and emotional development

Work closely with class teacher and other LSA's

Opportunity to go permanent

Training and development opportunities

What you will need:

Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs

Available to work full-time (Monday to Friday) term time

A desire to support vulnerable children and to make a positive impact on their lives

Commitment, dedication and enthusiasm

Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this)
